In the past

In the past the people used to eat taro raw. They didn’t cook their food. If taro is not cooked, it will taste yucky. The people in the past must have gotten an itchy mouth when they tried to eat taro raw.

Today, we use the stoves in our kitchens to cook taro. It can be boiled in water, baked in the oven or fried like chips.
